These Purchase Terms apply when you, a vendor business, buy image credits through Vendrshare and redeem them against images in a photographer’s gallery. They sit alongside the image licence agreement attached to each purchase.
1. What you’re buying
Each pack grants a number of image credits. One credit redeems one full-resolution image from the specific gallery you purchased from. Credits are not transferable between galleries or between photographers, and have no cash value.
2. The licence
When you redeem a credit you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide marketing-use licence for the image. The full text is in the licence PDF emailed to you at purchase, in the format published at /licence/v1. Key points:
- Permitted: your own website, your social channels, your printed marketing, PR and portfolio submissions referencing your services.
- Not permitted: reselling, sublicensing, transferring, or using the images to promote any third party.
- You are responsible for any additional consents you need from third parties depicted (e.g. the couple).
- The photographer retains copyright and may license the same images to others.
3. Vendrshare’s role
Vendrshare is the photographer’s payments agent. We are not the licensor and we are not a party to the licence between you and the photographer. The receipt and licence are issued in our name purely so payments and tax records work cleanly.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing checkout you authorise the charge against the payment method you provided. We do not store your card details.
5. Refunds
Digital goods are non-refundable once a credit has been redeemed and the original image delivered. If you have a genuine issue with a purchase, contact us at hey@vendrshare.com — most disputes are resolved by the photographer issuing a refund.
6. Cookies & identification
When you complete the buyer-identification gate we set a signed cookie scoped to that gallery so you don’t have to re-identify on return. The cookie expires after 30 days. See our cookie policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
- You must not use Vendrshare to obtain imagery you do not intend to use in good faith for your own marketing.
- You must not share original files with third parties or use them outside the licence terms.
8. Liability
Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for the purchase in dispute. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or anything that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
